Nottingham's Highest Rated PPF Specialist

Real customers, real cars, real coverage. Here's what people say after we've fitted their PPF.

If you are looking for a detailer whose customer service is just as good as his detailing services then look no further than Kieran. From the first exchange of messages I knew Kieran was the person to do the job I had enquired about. PPF front end of my 911 and Ceramic Coatings. Very impressed from start to finish. 100% would use again.

When I first considered having my car wrapped, local firms seemed rude and uninterested. A friend put me in touch with Kieran instead. My car is under 6 months old with less than 3k miles, but it looks better now after matte PPF and ceramic coating than it did leaving the factory. Above and beyond every step of the way, money well spent, and I won't take my car anywhere else.

PPF for Your Car

The film is the same. What changes is where the damage lands and which panels are worth covering.

P1033593.JPG

Porsche and performance cars

Sit lower, so they take a beating that daily hatchbacks never see. Front splitters, side skirts and lower door edges catch grit thrown up by the car in front and scrape on anything with a raised entrance. Extended Front End is usually the right call here, because it takes the coverage down the sides where the damage actually accumulates rather than stopping at the wings.

P1023417.JPG

BMW and German saloons

Motorway miles are the pattern. Bonnet and bumper take constant stone chip impact at 70mph, and the A-pillars and front roof edge catch what clears the screen. If the car covers serious mileage on the M1 or A46, Extended Front End earns its keep. If it's mostly local driving, Front End covers the zones that matter.

P1034189.JPEG

Tesla and EVs

Soft factory paint and large single-piece panels are the two issues. Chips show more readily, and a respray on a large uninterrupted panel is difficult to blend invisibly. That combination is why full coverage gets asked about more on EVs than on anything else we fit.

P1023458.JPG

Matte and satin factory paint

Matte paint cannot be machine polished. Once it's chipped or scuffed, the only fix is a respray of the whole panel. If your car left the factory in a matte or frozen finish, film is not an upgrade, it's the only protection available to you. We fit matte-compatible film that preserves the factory finish rather than glossing it over.

Why SunTek® is the Ultimate Investment

Self-Healing, Hydrophobic Perfection

SunTek® Ultra is a high-performance polyurethane film designed to take the impact of road hazards so your paintwork doesn't have to. Featuring advanced self-healing properties, swirl marks and light surface abrasions disappear with the application of gentle heat — ideal for a car that's out on Nottingham's roads every day.

Total Preservation & Financial Security

A single stone chip can devalue a vehicle by thousands or lead to costly resprays. By installing SunTek® Ultra at our Bulwell studio, you're locking in the resale value of your daily driver — the only genuine way to "bulletproof" your paintwork against stone chips, road salt, and environmental etching, all backed by a 12-year limited warranty.

PPF vs Ceramic Coating

Two different products that do very different jobs.
Here's how to choose the right one for your car.

Option A

Option B

Paint Protection Film

Recommended

What it does

✕ Bonds a hydrophobic glass layer over your paint. Enhances gloss, repels water and contaminants, makes washing far easier.

What it does

✓ A physical film that sits on the paint surface and absorbs damage instead of your car. Self-heals minor scratches using heat.

Stone chips & impact

No physical barrier. A stone chip at 70mph goes straight through to the paint. Ceramic cannot prevent this.

Stone chips & impact

Absorbs stone chips, road debris, and light scratches. The film takes the hit so your paintwork doesn't have to.

Gloss & finish

Excellent depth and wet-look gloss. Deepens your paint colour noticeably.

Gloss & finish

Optically clear — virtually invisible on gloss paint. Satin finish also available for a factory-wrapped look.

How long it lasts

✕ 3–7 years with proper maintenance and annual inspection.

How long it lasts

✓ 12+ years. Backed by SunTek's manufacturer warranty. Fit once, forget about it.

Best suited to

✕ Garaged or low-mileage vehicles that are already in good condition and want an easy-clean finish.

Best suited to

Absorbs stone chips, road debris, and light scratches. The film takes the hit so your paintwork doesn't have to.

Can they be combined?

✕ Yes. Ceramic coating applied over PPF is the premium choice — physical protection underneath, effortless cleaning on top.

Can they be combined?

Many Demon customers go for PPF with a ceramic top coat. It's the full package — we'll talk you through it.

The honest answer

If your car is a daily driver, new, or high-value — PPF is the right choice. Ceramic looks great but it won't stop a stone chip at 70mph. PPF will. If budget is a factor, we can talk through partial coverage options that protect the highest-risk areas first. There's no pressure — just the right advice for your car.

How We Install PPF: The Demon Process

To ensure a dust-free installation and perfect bonding, every job is carried out exclusively at our secure Bulwell studio.

Phase 1: Safe Wash & Decontamination

Nothing gets near your paintwork until it's completely clean. We run a full chemical decontamination first, stripping out every bonded contaminant hiding in the clear coat, the stuff a normal wash never touches. Then we machine polish with a light compound, lifting the gloss back up and clearing off any old protection still sitting on the surface. Film applied over anything less than this just locks the problem in underneath it, permanently.

Phase 2: Digital Templating

Every panel gets mapped using SunTek Core software and cut on a Graphtec plotter, built to your car's exact shape, not a generic pattern. Nobody's taking a blade near your bodywork. We go further than the software's first pass too, hand-editing templates ourselves to claw back every millimetre of coverage the standard cut would leave behind.

Phase 3: Application

Slip solution gives us full control to walk the film into position without any tension or pulling. Purpose-made PPF squeegees then set each template exactly where it needs to sit before anything's allowed to settle.

Phase 4: Edge Finishing

This is the step that separates a proper install from a quick one. Wherever the panel design allows, edges get tucked behind the bodywork instead of left visible, so there's no lift line and nothing to catch your eye. Once tucked, gentle heat seals every edge down, bonding it into the paint rather than leaving it perched on top.

Phase 5: Curing & Inspection

The car sits overnight, giving the film time to properly settle. Then we run it through a full quality check, panel by panel, checking the install meets the standard it needs to hold up for 12+ years, not just look good on day one.

Phase 6: Gtechniq Halo (Optional, Recommended On Every Job)

Halo is Gtechniq's own coating, built specifically to sit on top of PPF. We recommend it as standard because of what it actually does: makes the film far easier to keep clean, stops dead insects and bug splatter etching into the surface, and holds a hydrophobic finish for 2-3 years. It's protection for your protection.

Phase 7: Handover & Aftercare

Before you drive off, we talk you through exactly how to look after the film, what products and techniques to avoid, and what's normal to see over the first week as it fully cures and settles. We'll show you how to deal with dead insects properly and how to keep the protection topped up long-term. We also carry Gtechniq's own PPF maintenance kits, so you're using products built for the film, not just whatever's cheapest on the shelf.

The 12-Year Warranty

Twelve years from the date of installation, covering cracking, bubbling and yellowing. It applies when the film is fitted by an accredited installer onto original manufacturer paintwork and maintained to the care guidelines we hand over with the car.

Why the installer matters as much as the film

Nottingham’s #1 Rated PPF Specialists with over 300 5 Star Google Reviews

A manufacturer warranty only stands if the film was fitted correctly. Poor edge work, stretched film and contamination trapped underneath are installation faults, not film faults, and no manufacturer covers them. That's why every job we take is fitted by an installer with 15 years' experience, in our Bulwell studio rather than on a driveway, and why we cure overnight before the car leaves us.
